The following information is furnished by the seller. We make no declarations or warranties regarding the acuracy of these statements. All negotiations will be conducted between the Seller and the Buyer. Payday and Paycheck Loan Consulting WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN ANY NEGOTIATIONS OTHER THAN AS A FINDER. "This will give you some idea of what I have to sell. I want $85,000.00: cash, no financing, no "carry-back", no contingency sale.
I will stay with the company for one month after the sale, and will be available for telephone consult as long as they wish after that.

PAYDAY ADVANCE The profit before any office expenses of any kind is running about $5,000.00 to $6,000.00 per month. I arrive at this figure by subtracting the amount of each advance from the amount of the pay back. I outstanding advances of between $20,000.00 and $25,000.00 out at any one time. Probably 80% of the clients repeat, with dozens of them just paying the fees and a very small sum over that-month after month. I have approximately 400 files of paid off accounts that come back after one day-or six months: you never know, to get another advance.

DIVORCES, BANKRUPTCY, AND RELATED DOCUMENT PREPARATION MONEY GENERATING SERVICES These jobs bring in between $3,000.00 and $6,000.00 per month. We have completed over 2,000 cases (Our DONE files). A very big part of our business is referral, and all these "DONE" files consistently bring us in new business: the sister, the neighbor, the co-worker etc. We also have about 200 open cases that for whatever reason have never come back to complete their cases yet. These clients had walked into our office, paid money down for whatever: divorce, BK, who knows, then never came back. They are trying to make their marriages work, they are attempting to work out payment plans with creditors: who knows what. We have five years of these. Out of the blue, they will call or walk in and want their cases completed. We really charge them to complete the case.

NOTARY We have notarized thousands of peoples signatures, who all know where to find us, plus the banks, immigration services, insurance agents etc in the neighborhood all send their people to us that need notary. This brings in about $1,000.00 per month.

MISCELLANEOUS SOURCES OF CASH We make between $200.00 and $400.00 per month collecting money for prepaid telephone service and cards, selling candy, soda, doing copy, typing and FAX work etc. We make another couple hundred dollars marking up courier service, process server fees, Legal Notice advertising fees etc

WHAT WE HAVE GOING FOR US- Five and one half years of good will. Database of thousands of clients. The residual value of having had passed out thousands and thousands of fliers and business cards. They almost all offer "special" prices available upon presentation of the flier or business card. Another $1,000+ worth of software for Wills, Powers of Attorney, Deeds etc $600.00 worth of prepaid private label ATM cards with accompanying software. (We give loans over the telephone with these.) Work stations, desks, chairs, file cabinets, boxes of company stationery etc: the entire office goes! (Art work and office supplies not included) A good lease: 2 years to run with a five-year rollover. $965.00/mo plus CAM = $1,305.76/month. Plenty of parking. We are considering having a divider placed across the entire office, giving privacy to our PayDay Advance, Divorce, and BK clients in the back end of the office, leaving about two thirds of the office for retail. A liquidating company has approached us to put closeout merchandise in the front on consignment, constantly changing the inventory. I believe our customers would surely be prospective buyers for their merchandise. PARALEGAL: There is a Paralegal franchise company called "We the People" advertising heavily on TV and in the newspapers. I went to hear their presentation four years ago and they were charging almost $40,000.00 for their franchise. You had to lease your own office, buy your own equipment, start from scratch-it seemed like you sorta got to use their name for 40 big ones and then had to start your own business. You did the intake, FAXed it to them, they do the preparing of the legal documents, send them back to you, and kept 25% of the fee you collected from your own ads. I will teach you the entire process here-you will do your own doc prep and keep all the fees.

PAYDAY ADVANCE: I am aware of some of the companies that are "teaching" payday advance. One in the Palm Springs area charges $10,000.00 for a two day class; one in south Orange County charges $10,000.00 for their class; one in the South Bay area charges $15,000.00. Another company has ads in Business Opps. They are selling Pay Day Advance stores for $88,000.00. After this outlay, you get your own store, equipment etc.

WHY AM I SELLING? I am sixty-six years old; my wife has a very lucrative business that can be run from anywhere. I want to "hang it up" and we are moving to a village in central California.

LICENSES: The payday advance business requires a check cashiers' permit. Only a serious, white collar, type felony stops this. Paralegal certification is now required. There are literally hundreds of paralegals looking for work. The Notary requires setting through a one half hour class that they stretch into six hours, then taking a simple little test. I will walk you through all of these.
